LEGENDS OF THE FALL: Kicking off one of the most storied seasons in Christopher Newport athletics history, James Ratcliff won his first race of the year while leading the Captains to the team title during the Lebanon Valley Invitational at Memorial Lake State Park on September 10, 1994. During the competition, he shattered the course record in 25:59 and paced a tremendous team effort, which helped propel Christopher Newport into the national rankings for the first time in program history.
