DELAWARE, Ohio -- Capping off one of the most decorated careers in Christopher Newport history, senior Richard Roethel walked away a champion as he captured the national title in the decathlon at the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships on Friday at Ohio Wesleyan's Selby Stadium and Gauthier Track.
