NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - Christopher Newport University junior cross country runner Ray Gamache was selected by the USA South today as the Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week. This is the second straight week Gamache has earned the honor.

Gamache led the Captains as they competed in the William and Mary Tribe Invitational on Saturday. He finished the 8K in 26:05 placing him eleventh out of 47 runners.

Up next for Gamache and the Captains is the USA South Conference Championship on October 29 in Greensboro, North Carolina.
