NEWPORT NEWS, Va. -- Six Christopher Newport University student-athletes were recognized as members of the 2014-15 Virginia Sports Information Directors (VaSID) Academic All-State team. All six earned the top academic laurels for the first time in their career, selected among 223 student-athletes from 38 schools around the Commonwealth. Seniors Toby Brooks (Cheerleading) and Enuma Ezenwa (Track & Field) were joined by juniors David Furrow (Football), Brandon Moloney (Men's Lacrosse), Lisa Murphy (Field Hockey) and Garrett Van Nutt (Men's Soccer).
